Hi I’m Kervie Mata and thanks for stopping by. I’m a part-time blogger due to the demands of being the art director at Pyxl, a small but growing digital marketing agency in Knoxville, TN. My life has changed since the advent of the digital age – people access information faster, communicate faster, and get anything online with a couple clicks of the mouse. So what does this mean? To me it means that design has somewhat been taken for granted by people who don’t understand the importance of it, hence they expect it to be produced immediately. I’m not a big fan of the lazy designers taking away the important thought processes behind a design. Maybe it’s because I appreciate details that make looking at a great design worthwhile. Maybe because when a project is designed correctly, I feel happy. Maybe I care too much. Maybe I’m crazy. Maybe it’s just me.
